Here we talk about all things admin. Everything from the work-for-hire agreements to split sheets to producer agreements to properly registering your titles with your PRO. This is the essential first step to make sure your music is ready to license.

Module 2: Unraveling the Mysteries of Music Clearance

You will learn about each step of the clearance process, the time it takes for each step, and when you get paid. You’ll see examples of each the steps and given tools to negotiate your own licenses.

Module 3: How Can You Amplify Your Placements?

We will talk about music libraries, sync agents, and others who can pitch your music for you. You’ll also be given tips on how to utilize metadata to get your music heard and music production guidance on how to best structure your songs for placement. You’ll learn about all the right software you’ll need to pitch your music.

Module 4: Mindset & Building Your Sync Business

This is an important module in regards to really thinking about how you want to build your sync business. Roy shares some of the ways he has been able to diversify and different possible ways you could build your business.

Module 5: Interacting with Music Supervisors

This is where we get into how to pitch your own music, ways to meet music supervisors, and how best to approach them and do follow-ups.
